I am 17 and have no friends. I am home-schooled also. I am tired of being lonely. Most boys do not approach me. How can a teen with no friends get into the dating world? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Ps. My education is getting pretty easy. I have almost all A’s and one B. I have concentrated on education for far too long.

Hi, i am interested in sending my 14 year old son on a teen tour this summer. He is interested in going to hawaii hanging out on the beach and doing water sports. I don’t understand that reasoning. Sex is a natural act, people are going to do it since people are sexual beings by nature. That includes teenagers.
So, why do some people think punishing a teenager for doing something as basic and natural as sex is really going to fix anything? Since when has punishment replaced education?

Every year of my education,i played some sports.different,every year.I played tennis,basketball,voleyball,martial arts,swimming,dancing,hip-hop,belly-dancing…but all of that became boring to me,except volleyball.but I want to do some other sports,too.help!please

when i was 13 my mom found out i had sex for the first time and knew their may be another chance, i still dont know how she found out but she did, she made me go to the doctors and get a pap and on the birth controll pill. that is one thing i can say i thank her for and would never of regreted. so many of my senior friends are having babys due to lack of protection or from using condoms. their leaving their mom, grandma, or someone at a daycare take care of their child while they continue education or live the life of a teen. kids shouldnt have to raise kids nor should someone raise someone elses kid is my theorie. im only 18 im still on the pill and responsibly take it everyday and i have no kids or no fear of a chance of a baby.

I have a question about teen pregnancies regarding children and teens between 12-15, 1st off for that age group I noticed alot of kids asking "I am pregnant and scared to tell my parents" If kids are scared to tell there parents knowing when they have sex that pregnancy can occur then why put yourselves in that position, my son is in the 5th grade and there is a 12 year old girl in his class who is about 6 months pregnant its extremly sad to see that. I understand things happen but why so young? These kids arent even old enough to work, drive, and dont have a full education yet so how would they give their children the knowledge they need to sourvive as young adults? Why are the ages getting younger and younger when it comes to sex and getting pregnant? Has todays society ruined our children because everything in the media is sex? What can we do as parents to provent this from happening to our children?
I know there are alot of great kids out there but what is happening to the other kids that ruin there childhood for sex?
ASHLEY, The girl apparently was retained due to poor grades I belive she should be in the 6th grade. My son will be 12 in April and he is in the 5th grade also thats because he had to repeat 1st grade due to ADHD matters. It happens

I’m pretty liberal when it comes to everything with parenting — EXCEPT education and dating, where I can be a hardass.
I’ve noticed, of my relatives, the ones who were loose about those two things with their kids ended up with teen pregnancies. They thought they could be friends with their kids. "My kid can tell me anything," they’d brag. I’m much more reserved — I want to give the impression that there WILL be judgment should my kid get in with the wrong crowd.
When it comes to sex, should you be a friend to your kid or some stodgy hardass?

In my opinion, I think its disgusting and repulsive. Young people wait to get their education before settling down and having a family. But I’m also a firm believe that nobody should have children at all, ever.
What are your opinions on teen pregnancy? Do you think its on the rise? Do you believe in sex after marriage?
Leave my parents out of this.
