Teen weight loss help! 16 year old boy.?

I am not huge but i am pudgy and people always tell me I don’t look 220 and that "I hide my weight well. Well anyways, I need help because I would really like to look good this year. So can anyone please give me some advice on what to eat. I can’t exercise because I work after school and on my day off I usually forget to exercise but can you please give me good eating tips! And stuff that fills you up fast that are healthy for you! Thank you so much for your time! I really want to get myself good looking and healthy

you shouldn’t wait until the sensation of hunger arises to finally eat. by the time your body is thirsty,.,…, you are already dehrydrated and that applies to eating as well. by the time you’re hungry, your body is starting to enter starvation mode—by the time you do start eating, your body will be storing extra fats and calories.
I’m in the same boat dude, just quit soda and fried foods, drink lots of water. Eat anything with alot of fiber, a protein shake from gnc(powder) fills me up each morning. Clif bars taste great and fill you up. Figure out your daily calorie intake and lower it by 500.
its not so much what you eat as much as how much you eat
if you eat a well proportioned meal 3 times a day, you should lose weight quickly
plus i think it is quite obvious to skip on greasy foods like fries and opt for a baked potato or something instead
plus dont eat until you’re stuffed!
eat until you’ve had enough.
eat slowly and drink water or healthy drinks instead of a coke (even diet cokes are bad)
if you feel like you ABSOLUTELY have to have a snack, grab a fruit or vegitable instead of chips or cookies.
some doctors will suggest that you eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 average/large sized meals
before you go on any kind of diet though, please talk to your doctor.
If you have certain medical conditions, you may have to go on a restricted diet or something
yeah dude im in the same boat too. i weigh a little less but i’m an inch shorter, so i kind of have an idea of what you look like. I’m trying to eliminate all fast food from my diet. I’m trying to drink 6 bottles of water a day, or just more water in general. And soda. Soda is the killer. I used to have a coke a day atleast. Now i see the effects in my lovehandles. I know im not really telling you what to eat that’s healthy, but avoid all sugar. It’s the worst thing for you. Just be smart man, common sense tells you that a banana, is way better then a sleeve of cookies. From one 16 kid to another, hope this helped.
Start off by getting rid of all the junk in your diet. Soda, fried foods, junk foods, fast foods, sweets, etc. Drink LOTS of water. As a teen I know that your meals are not always up to you, so at these times just split your portions. Eat vegetables and fruits as snacks. You will see results by simply eating less and healthier. Small changes can make a big difference.
I would recommend keeping a food journal. Keep track of all the foods you eat and the calories and other nutrients in them. There are plenty of sites that will do this for you. I recommend sparkteens.com. Not only does it have a food journal, but there is also a ton of information about weight loss and living a healthy lifestyle on it. Plus it is a community made up of teens in the same situation as you. Once you know exactly what you are putting in to your body you will know how to improve on it, as well as what foods you eat that you should avoid.
As for the exercise, you will need to do it eventually. Why not start now? I’m a single mom that works full time and goes to school part time. Yet I still make it a point to exercise 6 days a week. If I can find time so can you. You don’t have to go to a gym or anything. A simple 30 minute walk and some light weights in your room will work just as well. I use exercise dvds. Check your local library for them. Then you can exercise in the comfort of your own house at any time of the day. Believe me, I know exercise doesn’t sound appealing, but once you start it actually feels pretty good and will help you get in shape faster.
