Where can I find laptop batteries with longer battery life?

I’ve heard of people buying better batteries for their laptops and switching the battery that came with the laptop. How can I find batteries that would fit a specific brand? (Example: Dell Inspiron 14R) I know there is a 6-cell and a 9-cell, is there something higher?

    Aftermarket manufacturers often make batteries that are stronger than the original brand. The cells make a difference but so does the mah and Wh. The higher the mah the more capacity the laptop battery will have. There may be a 12 cell for your laptop. A good site is http://www.batteries4less.com/contents/Static/laptop-batteries
