How can a teen with no friends get into the dating world?

I am 17 and have no friends. I am home-schooled also. I am tired of being lonely. Most boys do not approach me. How can a teen with no friends get into the dating world? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Ps. My education is getting pretty easy. I have almost all A’s and one B. I have concentrated on education for far too long.

    go to places where there are copious amounts of people your age, i.e the mall, starbucks.

    Try different activities in your area, then make a friend thats a girl first and then things might be able to open up if you have friends hat can introduce you to guys or meet one in that activity.

    I have the same problem basically. I went into home schooling in my third year of high school because i moved(without my parents) and because i was failing a class(this is something that never happens to me), that i tried to get out of and this made me lose all of my friends. Anyways i’m like lonely all the time too and the main thing i do social is snowboarding, but everybody is really doing there own thing there and don’t much care on making friendships. So if you need a friend, you can always talk to me(my email is ssnowbabe6@aol.com or the yahoo one,but i just made it &dont really use it so yeah). I think we can relate on a good bit of stuff. :-) Oh i’m 17 too,just forgot to mention lol

    Get some confidence!!!!!

    Join a group or club, mingle with people, get a Beebo page or face book start putting your self out there, they will not come to you if no ones know you exist.!!!

    Look for on line forums for your age

    Get a parttime job and you will meet others,
