I’m a 17 year old female,160 lbs and 5’4". My goals are to get toned and down to 120 lbs. Besides healthy diet & exercise what other things can I do to lose weight faster? I’m starting hockey & I know it would help me a ton if I was to lose these stubborn 40 lbs. Thanks for the help! :)

eat lots of low fat protiens (such as tofu, beans/legumes, and meat only occasionally) your dairy products should be low fat (like laughing ccow spreadable cheese and weight watcher cheese sticks, and low fat milk) or fat free (skim milk and nonfat plain yogurt) stay aaway from simple carbs (whit bread rice and/ or pasta) eat whole grains instead (brown rice, whole grain cereal, wheat pasta, and whole wheat bread or wraps ) but dont over due it with these grain cuse too many carbs os no good wither eat fruits and veggies (5 total servings a day combined no more than that)
Dont get carried away, best of luck (:

I’m a 16 year old male, 5’4" and 136 lbs. I weighed 152 lbs and decided to lose some weight. I exercised for 30 minutes in the morning / night and ate a fraction of my meals. So basically eating 3 small meals with an hour work-out per day did the job for me. I lost about a pound every 3 days and to figure out how much weight your body loses per day naturally, you need to calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate).

Again, your BMR is how many calories you lose naturally a day, doing nothing.
