I bought a HP laptop less than a year ago, now it says that i should consider replacing the battery.Smething is wrong with the batteries storage space also. When the laptop’s battery has run out n it shuts down usually it saves whatever u were doing and u can charge and restart the machine and everything is saved…..What can be the main reasons for this problem occurring?

Try completely discharging the battery for about two or three cycles, and then giving it a full recharge. This will often restore the battery to like-new condition and allow it to take a full charge again, and it’s very common for a battery that gets a lot of use to have this problem.

If that doesn’t work, call HP and tell them you have a defective battery. It should still be under warranty if it is less than a year old. Laptop batteries are made in China under questionable quality control, and failures happen more often than people realize.

don’t keep it charge while working.after 100% remove the charger and when it comes to 5% charge it again.
