whats the best car for a young teen to drive?

I prefer it to be an SUV so dont worry to much about the mpg, and i have ,000 saved up to spend on a car.

First, good job on saving $20,000! I am also looking for my first car. Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Ford Fiesta, and Ford Focus are all very fuel efficient cars. The newer models are also very nice looking!

Theee very best car is one that the teen has bought and paid for with their own money, for which they have worked with their own sweat and tears. It will get fewer wrecks and it will be kept clean. If you insist on paying for the car, it will last about six weeks and the teen will never reach twenty. Put your $20k into a EE Savings bond and tell the teen that it will go towards tuition. The frivolity of a gift-car ceremony is lost in a moment. The joy of direction and purpose will last a lifetime.
