What sport would you recommend for a hyper teen?

gymnastics is great for hyper people because you get to run and flip and stuff but you need to train hard and have a lot of concentration. and it is a sport most people start at an early age but still! GOOD LUCK!
Try some hockey. It’s a great aggressive and unwinding sport and you will be able to spend your energy while playing. You never get bored ’cause they’re always something going on. Being a goalie especially can help you being more focused.
